Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited and restricted uses of PixelHost services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP and to ensure your users also comply.
Prohibited Content
- Illegal content or activity, including content infringing copyright or IP rights
- Malware, spyware, botnets, or code designed to disrupt or damage systems
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or exploitation
- Sexually explicit content involving minors or non-consensual acts
Security and Interference
- No unauthorized access, probing, scanning, or testing of systems without explicit permission
- No interference with service integrity or performance, including load testing without approval
- No sharing of credentials or circumvention of authentication or security controls
Network Abuse
- Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS), port scanning, open relays/resolvers, or traffic amplification
- IP reputation abuse, including hosting phishing, command-and-control, or spam infrastructure
- Improper use of proxies/VPNs to mask unlawful activity
Email and Messaging
- No unsolicited bulk email (spam) or harvesting of addresses
- Transactional or marketing email must follow applicable laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Proper DNS configuration required (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for outbound mail
Resource Usage
- Do not exceed plan limits in a manner that disrupts other customers
- No crypto mining or similar high-load tasks without explicit written permission
- Use fair-share resources; we may throttle or isolate abusive workloads
Monitoring and Enforcement
We may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and may remove content, suspend, or terminate services to protect our platform or others. We will attempt to notify you of actions taken when reasonable.
Repeated or severe violations may result in immediate termination and removal of content.
Reporting Abuse
Report abuse or security incidents to abuse@phosti.com with detailed logs and timestamps. We review reports promptly and take appropriate action.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the status page or email. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
